History has always fascinated artists and scholars alike — its stories lingering in our collective memory like fragments from a forgotten world.

I am an artist devoted to bringing those stories back to life — from the sweep of great events to the quieter moments of ordinary people. Through works rooted in research and rendered in pencil, watercolour and oil, I explore history in its many facets — the famous and the forgotten, the battlefield and the marketplace, triumph and tragedy.

My work is an attempt to recover a sense of the past — and to remind us that every age was, above all, human.
